Sbarro Replica
Franco Sbarro's first production car was an elegant interpretation of 1920s classic roadsters built on Volkswagen Beetle platform. The Replica featured swooping fenders, cycle fenders, and vintage-inspired coachwork all constructed in modern fiberglass. Despite retro styling, it used contemporary VW mechanicals for reliability and ease of maintenance. Sbarro built each car essentially by hand at his Swiss facility, and the Replica gained popularity among enthusiasts seeking classic aesthetics with modern usability.
