Bricklin SV-1

The Bricklin SV-1 (Safety Vehicle One) was Malcolm Bricklin's ambitious attempt to create a safe sports car. Its distinctive gullwing doors, color-impregnated acrylic body panels, and integrated roll cage made it unique in the 1970s. Despite innovative safety features and striking design, only 2,897 were built before the company collapsed. The car used AMC V8 engines and remains a fascinating footnote in Canadian automotive history.
