History
Alfa Romeo Alfasud Ti
The Alfasud was Alfa Romeo's innovative entry into the compact class, featuring a unique boxer engine, front-wheel drive, and race-inspired suspension design by Rudolf Hruska. Built in a new factory in Southern Italy, it combined brilliant dynamics with practical packaging. The Ti (Turismo Internazionale) version offered increased performance and became legendary for its handling prowess. Despite catastrophic rust problems from poor quality control, the Alfasud demonstrated that small cars could deliver true driver engagement and became a cult classic among enthusiasts.
