The Monica 560 was an attempt to create a French rival to Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar luxury sedans. Despite elegant styling and powerful V8 performance, the oil crisis and limited production capacity doomed the project. It remains one of the rarest and most fascinating failures in French automotive history.
