History
Renault Alpine A310
The A310 succeeded Alpine's legendary A110 with more modern styling and increased performance from a rear-mounted PRV V6 engine. Its distinctive wedge profile was controversial but aerodynamically efficient, while maintaining Alpine's tradition of lightweight fiberglass construction. The chassis retained the backbone design that made Alpines such exceptional handlers. Though less successful in competition than its predecessor, the A310 offered genuine supercar performance in a uniquely French package.
