The Nota Fang utilized a tubular space-frame chassis and fiberglass body to achieve remarkable lightness, making even modest engines feel powerful. Its mid-engine layout and sophisticated suspension design gave it handling characteristics that rivaled purpose-built race cars. Only a handful were produced, making it one of Australia's rarest sports cars.
