History
Pontiac GTO Judge
Pontiac created The Judge as a low-cost stripper GTO but marketing transformed it into a high-impact muscle car icon with outrageous graphics, Orbit Orange paint, and mandatory Ram Air III engine. The name came from the popular 'Here come da Judge' sketch on Laugh-In. Standard equipment included a rear spoiler, Rally II wheels, and loud graphics package that announced your arrival. The optional Ram Air IV engine delivered 370 horsepower and genuine 13-second performance. While some dismissed it as a gimmick, The Judge captured the peak muscle car era's excess and excitement perfectly.
