Serenissima Ghia GT

Count Giovanni Volpi created Serenissima after a falling out with Enzo Ferrari, hiring former Ferrari engineers to build exotic sports cars. The Ghia GT featured a sophisticated quad-cam V8 and beautiful coachwork by Ghia. Only a handful were produced before financial realities ended the venture in 1966. The car represented one of many attempts by wealthy industrialists to challenge Ferrari in the GT market.
