History
Buick Riviera Gran Sport
The Buick Riviera Gran Sport merged personal luxury with muscle car performance in a uniquely American way. Its 425 cubic inch Nailhead V8 produced 360 horsepower, making it one of the fastest luxury coupes of its era. The Gran Sport package added distinctive badges, upgraded suspension, and performance axle ratios while maintaining Riviera's refined interior. Bill Mitchell's design remains one of GM's most celebrated, perfectly balancing elegance with athletic proportions.
