Abarth 1000 Bialbero

The Abarth 1000 Bialbero (twin-cam) represented Carlo Abarth's engineering prowess with a dual overhead camshaft engine producing an astonishing 112 hp from under one liter. Built in extremely limited numbers primarily for racing, it dominated its class in hillclimbs and circuit racing throughout the early 1960s. The lightweight aluminum bodywork and advanced engine made it capable of competing against much larger displacement cars. Today, genuine Bialbero examples are among the most valuable Abarth models.
