The Turner 950 Sports combined a tubular spaceframe chassis with featherweight fiberglass bodywork. Its sub-500kg weight meant even modest BMC A-series engines delivered thrilling performance. The car's simple construction and reliability made it popular in club racing. Hand-built in small numbers, Turner exemplified the cottage industry British sports car movement.
