Facel Vega Facellia
The Facel Vega Facellia was an ambitious attempt to create a smaller, more affordable sports car alongside the company's V8 grand tourers. Featuring stunning coachwork and luxurious appointments, the Facellia embodied French elegance in a compact sports car package. Unfortunately, the company's decision to develop its own 1.6-liter twin-cam engine proved disastrous, with chronic reliability problems undermining the car's reception. Despite its technical failings, the Facellia's gorgeous styling and rarity make it highly sought after today, representing both Facel Vega's ambition and eventual downfall.
