History
Simca Aronde Océane
The Simca Aronde Océane was a delightful small convertible that brought affordable open-air motoring to French families in the late 1950s. Its 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine provided adequate performance while returning excellent fuel economy. The elegant bodywork, with its distinctive wraparound windscreen and chrome trim, offered genuine style at an accessible price point. The Océane variant became particularly popular along the French Riviera, where its combination of sunshine, style, and economy made it an ideal companion.
