History
Lloyd Alexander TS
The Lloyd Alexander TS represented the final evolution of Lloyd's economy car line, featuring an all-steel body that replaced the earlier wooden-framed LP models. Despite its tiny two-stroke engine, the front-wheel drive layout and light weight provided adequate performance for city use. The TS model was particularly popular with budget-conscious families during Germany's economic recovery. Production exceeded 150,000 units, making it one of the most successful small cars of its era before Borgward's bankruptcy ended production.
