AWE P70
The AWE P70 represented East Germany's attempt to create a modern, sporty coupe for the masses. It featured innovative front-wheel drive and a distinctive two-tone color scheme. The three-cylinder two-stroke engine was economical but produced characteristic noise and smoke. Despite its forward-thinking design, production was limited and the model was eventually absorbed into the Wartburg lineup.
