History
Cunningham C-3
Briggs Cunningham's C-3 represented America's serious attempt to compete with European sports cars on international racing circuits. The chassis was built in America with powerful Chrysler Hemi V8 engines, while elegant bodywork came from Italian coachbuilder Vignale. Continental and coupe variants were offered, with racing versions achieving podium finishes at Le Mans. Only 25 production C-3s were built, making them among the rarest and most valuable American sports cars.
