History
Woodill Wildfire
Woodill's Wildfire pioneered fiberglass construction in American sports cars, actually beating the Corvette to market by several months. Bodies were built by Glasspar and could be purchased as kits for home assembly or as complete turnkey cars. Most used Ford or Willys engines with various transmissions and rear axles. The lightweight construction and variety of engine options made each Wildfire somewhat unique, with approximately 300 bodies produced though far fewer complete cars were built.
