History
Gutbrod Superior
The Gutbrod Superior was remarkably advanced for a post-war economy car, featuring front-wheel drive and independent suspension. Later models introduced Bosch direct fuel injection, making it one of the first production cars with this technology. The two-cylinder two-stroke engine was efficient and simple to maintain. Despite its innovations, Gutbrod ceased automobile production in 1954, making the Superior a rare piece of German automotive history.
