History
Dellow Mk II
Dellow Engineering created purpose-built trials cars combining Ford running gear with specially designed lightweight chassis and bodies. The Mk II featured remarkable ground clearance, minimal overhangs, and a short wheelbase optimized for navigating steep hillclimbs and rough terrain. Despite using humble Ford Ten or Prefect engines, the car's light weight and excellent traction made it nearly unbeatable in trials competition. Its success inspired numerous competitors and established the template for British trials specials throughout the 1950s.
