Allard J2

The Allard J2 combined British chassis engineering with powerful American V8 engines from Cadillac or Chrysler. Its lightweight construction and brutal power delivery made it a giant-killer in period racing. The split front axle and independent coil spring suspension provided surprisingly good handling. With minimal bodywork and maximum horsepower, the J2 epitomized post-war performance motoring.
