History
Alvis TA14
The Alvis TA14 was the company's first post-war model, introducing modern independent front suspension while retaining traditional British craftsmanship. Built in Coventry, it featured a 1.9-liter four-cylinder engine and was available in various body styles including drophead coupe. The TA14 established Alvis as a maker of refined sporting saloons, bridging pre-war elegance with modern engineering. Many examples featured bespoke coachwork from prestigious British coachbuilders.
