The SW 38 offered Maybach luxury in a slightly more compact and affordable package. Its 3.8-liter six delivered smooth power with Maybach's signature overdrive gearbox. Cabriolet versions featured exquisite coachwork by top German builders emphasizing elegance over sportiness. Production ended with WWII as Maybach shifted to military engines.
