Auburn 851 Speedster
Gordon Buehrig's spectacular boattail speedster design made the Auburn 851 one of the most beautiful American cars ever produced. The supercharged straight-eight engine allowed every car to be tested at over 100 mph before delivery, with a dashboard plaque signed by racing legend Ab Jenkins certifying the achievement. Stunning Art Deco exterior details including pontoon fenders and exposed exhaust pipes created automotive sculpture. Only about 500 speedsters were built before Auburn's bankruptcy, making them highly coveted collectors' cars.
