Amilcar Pegase G36

The Amilcar Pegase marked a dramatic departure from the company's cyclecar roots toward sophisticated sports car engineering. Its twin overhead-cam six-cylinder engine featured advanced metallurgy and delivered impressive performance. Independent front suspension and elegant coachwork positioned it against Bugatti and Delahaye, but financial difficulties ended production after only about 30 examples were built.
