History
Minerva Type AL
Minerva was Belgium's most prestigious luxury automobile manufacturer, with the Type AL representing the pinnacle of their pre-war engineering. These massive automobiles featured advanced Knight sleeve-valve engines, exceptional refinement, and were often bodied by the finest European coachbuilders. Minerva's reputation for quality rivaled Rolls-Royce, with Belgian royalty and wealthy industrialists among its clientele. The Great Depression and World War II ultimately ended Minerva's glory days, with production never recovering to pre-war standards.
