Dixi DA-1 Tourer
Dixi licensed the Austin Seven design creating Germany's answer to basic motorization. The DA-1 featured a tiny four-cylinder engine but remarkable efficiency and practicality. When BMW acquired Dixi in 1928, this model became the first BMW car. Open tourer versions provided fresh-air motoring for budget-conscious buyers.
