History
Hanomag 2/10 PS Kommissbrot
The Hanomag 2/10 PS was one of Germany's first mass-produced small cars, featuring a radical teardrop design. Its single-cylinder 500cc engine produced just 10 hp but could propel the lightweight car to 60 km/h. The nickname 'Kommissbrot' came from its resemblance to military-issue bread, and despite initial skepticism, over 15,000 were produced making it a commercial success.
