Bean Fourteen
The Bean Fourteen represented an attempt to create a British competitor to Ford's mass-production methods. Despite modern factory equipment and ambitious production targets, the company struggled with reliability and build quality. The car itself was conventionally engineered but suffered from the company's financial difficulties and inexperience in volume car production. Bean's failure highlighted the challenges facing new entrants in the increasingly competitive 1920s British motor industry.
