Winton Six Limousine

Alexander Winton built America's first commercially-sold automobile in 1897, and his later Six models represented mature luxury car design. The inline-six engine provided smooth, powerful performance for the heavy limousine bodywork. Winton pioneered many automotive innovations including electric ignition and the steering wheel. The company ceased car production in 1924 to focus on marine diesel engines.
